One of the benefits of rush hour traffic is that not only do you get to notice things like this but you also have time to snap a picture. This is going south on Lamar Blvd crossing Lady Bird Lake (formerly Town Lake) looking east towards downtown Austin. We had a ton of rain today and this is a nice payoff.

I li ve basically in Pflugerville, and had a 7:00 rehearsal downtown. It took me an hour to get there, and I allowed for two. Always better to sit and warm up than to be late.
